Ann Althouse is right about this:
Can we ever settle down and be normal about the fact there are people of different sexes, different races, and different sexual orientations? I wish Andrew Sullivan would be a little more reflective — to the point of experiencing embarrassment — about the sentimental twinges he feels witnessing black people accomplishing something.I get Andrew Sullivan is excited about this development. But it is also hardly the profile in courage moment he makes it out to be.
