George W. Bush and the Republicans were suckers who actually took the disclosure of a spy seriously (even though it resulted in a guy who did not disclose the information getting convicted of a crime, and the real guy getting a pass since he was associated with Colin Powell). The Democrats will never allow themselves to be subject to a special prosecutor.
